Treat for the boss!

One of the perks of my lovely job as a vintage seller is that I get to treat myself ocassionaly to some lovely vintage items for my own wardrobe. Last night was one of these moments! Check out what I found, a very cute pair of already broken in brown leather loafers and a lovely fluffy brown hat with attached feather detail. I am a happy bunny! Now just need to wait for the rain to stop long enough for me to try them out!

Get it while it's hot!

Check out what we've just listed on ebay! It's an original 1940s/1950s kitchen unit in it's original colours. It has amazing etched glass doors and even has it's enamel plate still inside the drop down door. It's very handy for storage in any room in your house and with a starting price of just 99p you can't go wrong!

After two years we have finally joined the 21st century and opened an online shop on eBay. I'm going to be strict with myself and make sure that I keep adding newly sourced and interesting items on there so keep popping back for a nosy! You never know what you might find!

We forgot we had a blog!

It's been over a year since we last posted on here as I completely forgot we had a blog set up! I've finally got my head round the whole twitter, facebook, website scene and can now attempt to handle keeping this up to date too (fingers crossed!).

On here we will be keeping you up to date with all the Toadstool gossip, i.e. events, new or interesting stock & even just some general ponderings. It will mainly be me (Loll) updating this so who knows what crazy thoughts may end up being posted on here!

So...here goes. Today at TV (new Toadstool Vintage abbreviation) I have been rediscovering blogging, been listening to Singing in the Rain soundtrack (on good ole cassette tape!) and some classic Doris Day being Calamity Jane.
